Expanding pathways to psychiatric care

SacredHLI’s mission is to improve access to psychiatric mental-health services by connecting adults with licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) through secure telehealth while providing understandable pathways to mental-health resources and appropriate care.

Our nonprofit model brings qualified psychiatric providers together across multiple states, creating a distributed network designed to extend the reach of professional mental-health care beyond the limitations of a single office, city, or geographic community.

Why access matters

Finding appropriate psychiatric care can be difficult. Provider shortages, geographic distance, transportation barriers, scheduling limitations, and fragmented care pathways can make an already difficult moment even harder. SacredHLI works to reduce these barriers through telepsychiatry, public information, care-navigation resources, and collaborative referral pathways.

Our mission extends beyond paid clinical encounters

SacredHLI’s public-benefit activities are not limited to people who purchase psychiatric services. We also provide mental-health information, crisis-resource connections, care-navigation guidance, and referral pathways that members of the public and community partners may use without becoming paying SacredHLI patients.

One nonprofit. A distributed network of psychiatric providers.

SacredHLI is building a model in which appropriately licensed PMHNPs can serve patients across multiple states through a shared telepsychiatry framework.

Rather than depending on one physical clinic, the network is designed to grow by adding qualified providers and expanding state coverage responsibly. This allows SacredHLI to increase its potential reach while maintaining state licensure requirements, clinical standards, patient privacy, and appropriate provider-patient matching.

A six-state telepsychiatry footprint

SacredHLI’s telepsychiatry footprint includes six states. Current new-patient availability is concentrated in California, Arizona, and Texas:

Colorado, Georgia, and Nevada are temporarily not accepting new patients. Services remain subject to provider availability, clinical appropriateness, and applicable state licensure requirements. Patients must be physically located in the state associated with their appointment at the time care is provided.

We measure impact through access

For SacredHLI, impact begins with creating legitimate pathways to care. As a growing nonprofit organization, we are focused on building the clinical capacity, public resources, relationships, and infrastructure needed to help more people find appropriate psychiatric support.

We do not define impact solely by the number of paid appointments. We also consider whether our work expands provider capacity, increases geographic reach, improves access to useful information, creates clearer pathways to care, and strengthens community and referral connections.

Mission before expansion

SacredHLI is organized as an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity. Our growth is intended to advance our charitable mission by strengthening access to psychiatric care, providing useful public mental-health resources, and building sustainable pathways through which qualified providers can serve more communities.

Revenue generated through mission-related clinical services supports the organization’s ability to maintain and strengthen the infrastructure, provider network, technology, administration, and access pathways required to carry out that mission.

SacredHLI also serves the public through mental-health information, crisis-resource connections, care-navigation guidance, and referral resources that do not require an individual to purchase SacredHLI clinical services.

Working together to expand access

Expanding access to mental-health care requires collaboration. SacredHLI welcomes appropriate relationships with therapists, healthcare organizations, community groups, referral partners, and others whose work can help connect people with needed psychiatric and mental-health resources.

We are particularly interested in partnerships that strengthen responsible patient access, referral pathways, public awareness, mental-health education, and the reach of our distributed telepsychiatry network.
