“Empowering You with Knowledge“
Resources & Access to Care
Finding reliable mental-health information — and knowing where to begin — should not add more confusion to an already difficult situation.
Sacred Healing Lights International (SacredHLI), an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity, provides mental-health information, psychiatric care guidance, crisis-resource connections, referral pathways, and practical ways to connect with professional support.
You do not need to become a SacredHLI patient or purchase SacredHLI services to use the public resources on this page. These resources are provided as part of our nonprofit mission to improve access to mental-health information and appropriate care.
Mental-health information available without becoming a patient
SacredHLI’s charitable work extends beyond paid psychiatric appointments. We provide public access to trusted mental-health information, crisis-resource connections, care-navigation guidance, and referral pathways that may help individuals, families, clinicians, and community organizations identify an appropriate next step.
Finding the right starting point
Different situations require different levels of support. These pathways can help you identify an appropriate next step.
What is telepsychiatry?
Telepsychiatry is the delivery of psychiatric care through secure video and other approved telehealth technologies. It allows appropriately licensed psychiatric providers to evaluate and treat patients without requiring every visit to take place in a physical office.
SacredHLI’s distributed model connects adults with licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) who provide care within the states where they are authorized to practice.
How to begin
If you are seeking clinical psychiatric care from SacredHLI, all new patients begin at our Start Here page, where you can review available pathways and choose how you would like to proceed.
Begin at our patient-access page to review your available options.
Choose the option that best fits how you would like to begin, including speaking with someone first or using Guided Care.
Your selected pathway will guide you to the appropriate next step for accessing SacredHLI care.
Where SacredHLI provides care
SacredHLI’s telepsychiatry footprint includes six states:
Current new-patient availability is California, Arizona, and Texas. Colorado, Georgia, and Nevada are temporarily not accepting new patients. Patients must be physically located in the state associated with their appointment at the time care is provided, and the treating clinician must be appropriately licensed there.
Understanding payment pathways
For individuals choosing to receive SacredHLI clinical services, available payment options may vary by provider, state, insurance plan, and individual circumstances.
Insurance coverage and reimbursement are determined by the applicable health plan and are not guaranteed by SacredHLI.
Mental-health information and support
The following national resources provide mental-health education, treatment information, and crisis support. They are independent organizations and are not operated by SacredHLI.
Access to these resources does not require registration with SacredHLI, payment to SacredHLI, or establishment of a SacredHLI patient relationship.

SacredHLI provides scheduled outpatient psychiatric services. We are not an emergency department, crisis-response service, or emergency psychiatric service.
If you or someone else is in immediate danger, call 911. For suicide, mental-health, or emotional crisis support in the United States, call or text 988, or go to the nearest emergency department.
Connecting people with psychiatric care
SacredHLI welcomes appropriate referrals from therapists, clinicians, healthcare programs, and community organizations seeking a psychiatric pathway for adults who may benefit from evaluation or medication management.
All referrals remain subject to state licensure, provider availability, clinical appropriateness, and individual patient needs.
Help strengthen access to mental-health resources
SacredHLI’s nonprofit mission includes maintaining public mental-health information, crisis-resource connections, referral pathways, and access guidance alongside our clinical telepsychiatry program. Support from individuals and organizations helps strengthen the infrastructure required to continue and expand this work.
