Resources & Access to Care

Finding reliable mental-health information — and knowing where to begin — should not add more confusion to an already difficult situation.

Sacred Healing Lights International (SacredHLI), an IRS-recognized 501(c)(3) public charity, provides mental-health information, psychiatric care guidance, crisis-resource connections, referral pathways, and practical ways to connect with professional support.

You do not need to become a SacredHLI patient or purchase SacredHLI services to use the public resources on this page. These resources are provided as part of our nonprofit mission to improve access to mental-health information and appropriate care.

PUBLIC-BENEFIT RESOURCES

Mental-health information available without becoming a patient

SacredHLI’s charitable work extends beyond paid psychiatric appointments. We provide public access to trusted mental-health information, crisis-resource connections, care-navigation guidance, and referral pathways that may help individuals, families, clinicians, and community organizations identify an appropriate next step.

Mental-Health Education Access reliable information about mental-health conditions, symptoms, treatment options, and sources of support.
Crisis Connections Find established emergency and crisis resources when scheduled outpatient psychiatric care is not appropriate.
Care Navigation Understand different care pathways and identify a reasonable next step based on the type of support you are seeking.
Referral Resources Help clinicians, therapists, programs, and community organizations connect appropriate adults with psychiatric resources.

Finding the right starting point

Different situations require different levels of support. These pathways can help you identify an appropriate next step.

UNDERSTANDING CARE

What is telepsychiatry?

Telepsychiatry is the delivery of psychiatric care through secure video and other approved telehealth technologies. It allows appropriately licensed psychiatric providers to evaluate and treat patients without requiring every visit to take place in a physical office.

SacredHLI’s distributed model connects adults with licensed Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) who provide care within the states where they are authorized to practice.

Psychiatric Evaluation
Assessment of symptoms, history, functioning, and treatment needs.
Medication Management
Ongoing review of medication response, effectiveness, and clinical needs.
Diagnostic Assessment
Clinical evaluation to support diagnostic understanding and treatment planning.
Continuing Care
Follow-up care to monitor progress and maintain an appropriate treatment plan.

Where SacredHLI provides care

SacredHLI’s telepsychiatry footprint includes six states:

Current new-patient availability is California, Arizona, and Texas. Colorado, Georgia, and Nevada are temporarily not accepting new patients. Patients must be physically located in the state associated with their appointment at the time care is provided, and the treating clinician must be appropriately licensed there.

PAYMENT & ACCESS

Understanding payment pathways

For individuals choosing to receive SacredHLI clinical services, available payment options may vary by provider, state, insurance plan, and individual circumstances.

Commercial Insurance Insurance-based psychiatric care may be available through participating providers and supported payer networks, subject to eligibility and coverage. New patients begin with SacredHLI’s Commercial Insurance Intake through Start Here; SacredHLI then establishes the appropriate insurance-supported next step when applicable.
Self-Pay Patients may choose a direct self-pay pathway when appropriate or when insurance is not being used for care.
Out-of-Network Benefits Eligible patients may be able to seek reimbursement from their health plan when applicable documentation is available.

Insurance coverage and reimbursement are determined by the applicable health plan and are not guaranteed by SacredHLI.
